2020 has surprised everyone by being 2020. I was lucky enough to give birth just before the pandemic, so that my family and a few friends got to greet my little man. Our family unit has enjoyed this insulated time to get to know each other and we’ve leaned in to our already outdoorsy habits.
Health and wellness have been at the forefront of everyone’s minds, and it is important to me, as a health care provider that I return to work. Luckily as an RMT I was already following strict safety procedures. Those are even more strict now, with a two-step cleaning process and adding in masks for every patient encounter. I will also be increasing the time between patient visits to prevent overlap in the clinic and to reduce the risk of infection. Additional screening will occur before appointments and on arrival, and we’re asking patients to avoid bringing extra guests to their appointments. In case you need a support person, or want to accompany a patient who is a minor, needs a substitute decision maker, or translator, please let us know ahead of time so that we can accomodate you.
